The club has been providing communication for this event for about 25 years.
This year on January 16 [2016] the roster of operators consisted of the following:

Radio Three: Baby Moon Walk: VE7RLE
Radio Four: Bottom of Stig’s Loop: VE7FAT
Radio Five: Junction of Ermine Frolic and Hot Shot: VA7REV

Thanks to all of the above, particularly VE7NIA who provided primary
Medical Responsibility and who is also completing her own medical recovery.

Thanks as well to VE6DSF and VE7IU who had offered their services but
were kept away by issues beyond their control.

This year’s successful event of close to 500 skiers was greatly assisted
by the club’s amateur radio communications.
