Date: October 25–26, 2025
Location: R.J. Haney Heritage Village and Museum, Salmon Arm
Spooktacular in Salmon Arm is held annually at the end of October at the R.J. Haney Heritage Village and Museum. It’s a beloved family event that blends tradition and fun in the spirit of Halloween. The festivities run from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
This year, as in many years past, the Shuswap Radio Amateur Club (SARC) proudly volunteered to support the event across both evenings.
Volunteers from the Shuswap Amateur Radio Club included:
- Gary VE7GSZ
- Mike VE7LOG
- Peter J VE7PAE
Radio club members supported the event by helping organize safe traffic flow, using radio communication to coordinate the busy arrivals.
Despite shifting weather—rain but mild on Saturday, dry and chilly on Sunday— Despite the weather, The SARC members helped support the organization of the event and kept things running smoothly.
Rain or shine, the radio team was ready—always supporting community events with reliable communication.
Interested in radio, community service, or both? Join SARC and be part of something meaningful.
