It was a beautiful day and a successful trip by Hans, VE7OHR and Robin, VE7HMN to the Queest Mountain repeater. The Yeasu radio on the APRS system was replaced with an Icom H16 that will restart automatically following a low Voltage event as often occurs during the winter.
The electrolyte levels on NiCd batteries powering the APRS system were checked and a grounding issue on the Voltage sense lines was repaired. Phil, VE7BPH assisted from his QTH in testing that the APRS telemetry was being received and gated to the internet after the repairs were complete.
