9.1 Damage reimbursement:

9.2 Shuswap Amateur Radio Club Liability Policy:

M:Robin                S: Celia                  , that the Shuswap Amateur Radio Club (SARC) will not be held liable for any damages to personal equipment being used on Club business.  SARC to establish procedures to implement this policy as soon as possible.                                                                                                 CARRIED

9.3 Nonmember involvement in Club activities:

9.9 Shuswap Dirt Riders Club – Aiden

– requests radio support for the Rockhound Cross Country endure bike race on October 19^th from 10:00 hours to approximately 16:00 hours.

9.10 Logo – Gary, has met with Hucul Printing who will work with us to produce a logo with                                            three or four options to choose from.  Estimated price of $300

10. Information Only Items:

10.1 Poster – Peter has produced a poster intended for distribution to selected schools in the North                 Okanagan School District. This poster promotes the benefits of becoming an amateur radio              operator and how to become one. Celia has been in contact with the School Board Office and has a      contact person to work with.

10.2 Emergency Team – Phil appointed Peter Jugovic to Chair this committee and recruit volunteers.  This group will be responsible for establishing communications and liaisons with other emergency organizations Ie. the CSRD emergency operations centre, in the event of a large scale emergency occurrence
