  1. Information Only Items:

10.1 Airport Appreciation Day – Wayne – reports that he, Al Marr, Peter Jugovic and Dave Hadley attended and set up our tent and display. We were able to speak to several people and had some people interested in taking the basic course.

10.2 Field Day Committee – Al Marr – 10 people attended total with 6 people operating the radios.  Ron Rosmer/VE7FV, from Hinton AB, joined our Club and operated one of the stations.  Despite poor propagation contacts results were good.  Current solar activity results in serious radio wave absorption. There were a total of 207 contacts made on CW, SSB and digital formats.  Peter has compiled all the   information and volunteered to submit it.

M: Robin     S: Celia , that Peter Jugovic be QSL manager for the SARC                                                                                                                               CARRIED

10.3 Fall Fair Report- Celia – has arranged for site #9 on Memory Lane for the SARC booth at the Fall        Fair, August 22, 23, 24th.  There was some recent vandalism that is to be repaired but we may be        responsible for some cleanup.  There is power available as well.  And, best of all there is no cost to us.
